This client has a multi-million dollar investment portfolio comprising properties,
shares and other investments. They use befree to reconcile over forty (40) bank
accounts across 15 different entities and to prepare reconciliations for specific
items within the accounts that require detailed review and tracking for management
reporting purposes. These tasks were taking 5 days per month to be completed in-house
and were being done by senior accountants within the company. Management decided
that this time was better spent by senior accounting staff managing other aspects
of the business where their skills could be more effectively utilized.

and quality cross checks to process the clients information accurately and in time
for monthly management reporting. befree receives the information electronically
on the 1st day of each month and returns it to the client fully completed

This client was referred to befree by a successful accounting practice, as they
were not happy with the quality of the accounts being maintained by an incumbent
bookkeeper. The accountant found they could not rely on the accuracy of the figures
provided. The data file had become unusable and befree was given the task of sorting
out the errors and inconsistencies within the file covering a period of 2 financial
years.
befree consultants attended the client onsite to understand exactly what the previous
bookkeeper was doing, how and based on what information
so they could then understand what errors had occurred in the file and how they
could be fixed. After discussions with the accountants directly and further onsite
visits with the client, befree was able to correct the figures and provide reliable
information to the accountants for year end accounts and tax return preparation.
The Pharmacy now uses befree for all on-going bookkeeping
including payroll and BAS lodgements.

client asked befree to take over bookkeeping for all entities when the client found
that the complexity of the transactions required more experienced accounting knowledge
than their existing staff had. befree was asked to review and correct the file for
errors that had become inherent within the file over past years before establishing
systems and processes that would ensure the accounts could be maintained appropriately
and reliably enough to meet audit requirements. befree looks after the weekly accounting
via remote access and recently worked closely with the newly appointed auditors
and accountants to resolve issues arising from prior years. The accounts file is
complex with international transactions and inter-entity transactions including
strict audit requirements that we need to adhere to.
